About:
Second Street Studios is located at the intersection of South Second Street and Keyes, a gateway to Downtown San Jose’s southern entrance. This 135 unit affordable housing project occupies four floors above commercial space. The retail will be owned by a separate entity through condominium sub-division.

Structured retail and residential parking is provided on the ground floor and below grade. Protected bicycle parking for both residents and guests is available.
Of the 135 units, one is a 2BR manager’s apartment, 6 are 1BR apartments and 128 are 450SF studio apartments. All units have a kitchen and accessible bathroom. The 1BR and 2BR units have exterior balconies. All units are permanent supportive housing with Project Based Vouchers for extremely low income households that are the most vulnerable to the high housing costs in the region. FCH partners with experienced healthcare and supportive service provider Abode Services to ensure that appropriate on-site services are available to improve the quality of life of this special needs population.
